Sustainable Speed is a design research initiative about the culture of automobile enthusiasts and how they relate to the increasing global climate change that ushers a new era of sustainability. The objective is to first research and understand the demographic of car lovers in the Los Angeles area and the challenges they face. Interviews will be conducted with traditional methods and the use of designed cultural probes. The results will inspire a designed body of work about the uncommon connection between sustainability-minded responsibility and performance car aficionados.
